Conducting international user research is a complex process even for the most experienced practitioners. When testing is conducted in unfamiliar or multiple countries, this complexity is compounded exponentially. Differences in cultures, language, and design philosophies must be understood. Logistical, planning and technical issues must be considered.
Led by the members of the User eXperience Alliance (UXalliance), the international network for global user experience, GlobalUserResearch.com was developed to help advance the state of this growing field, and encourage discussions. Our goal is to provide a resource for expert information and a community where practitioners from across the world can share experiences and best practices.
Together, we can use our insights to improve global testing practices, easing the path to actionable data and an outstanding customer experience.
